I was born in Alabama, raised in Iowa and Nebraska, and live in Omaha, NE now. I spent twelve years on the road throughout the midwest with the rock band The Jacks, then eased back and taught 6th Graders for seven years, and became a technology trainer for the largest school district in Nebraska for 15 years. Now I am back to full time music, and it makes me realize it is the only thing I've even been truly passionate about. So it is time to write and record!

I'm also a published author (Dr. Dan Bird) with my first two books available from Amazon or Ozark Mountain Publishing.
